Part Two Calendar

PART TWO: WHERE DINAH’S MISSING
Dinah makes the decision to leave Miami for UCLA on June 8th. Her reasoning is revealed through flashbacks as far back as December.

There is no calendar for part two being that the part was told in flashbacks, leaving the only time for the story to progress in a linear fashion was in 2.1 and 2.8. The reason that this part was told in flashbacks was to show why Dinah was making the decisions that she was making leading up to her leaving.

PART THREE: WHERE THEY’RE ALL GROWN UP

Dinah’s back in town with a guest. Normani’s still mad about her leaving. Lauren and Camila are going strong again, but Lauren’s mental health and Camila’s work threatens that stability.

Blue is December

Yellow is January

Red is February

Green is March

April is Purple

May is Orange

This is the longest part both writing wise and timewise. It also introduced the biggest climax of this book by finally diving into Normani and Dinah's relationship in comparison to them dancing around each other.

Part Four Calendar

PART FOUR: WHERE IT ALL COMES FULL CIRCLE
Dinah and Normani are finally moved in together in a house, but face frustration with their status as a couple and their future. Camila’s finally planning on coming out, but is outed and faced with the consequences of that leak. Lauren and Camila face being engaged and falling into the spotlight.

June is blue

July is yellow

August is red

This was the weirdest part to write overall. It covered a lot, from Camila being outed to Dinah and Normani not agreeing about their future and was a display of how far they've come but they still have more to go (the story's ending but their stories aren't over).
