Operation Sandwich
Our club aims to bring Myers Park students together to participate in supporting Roof Above in their mission to aid the homeless in Charlotte. Roof Above sees about 1200 homeless people a day and when they leave the shelter Roof Above gives them sandwiches to take as a meal. However, Roof Above has to work very hard to supply all of these meals daily. Operation Sandwich will meet to make these Sandwiches and donate them to Roof above. Our mission of doing this is to bring Myers Park students together to work hard for the benefit of those less fortunate. We also hope this club will bring more awareness to the organization so it can continue its mission strongly.
