Academic Team is a club that participates in various competitions (Twelves and different Quiz Bowl competitions). The club meets every week to study and practice packets for competition. The club aims to help teammates learn their subject interests in great depth and put that into play during competitions.

Students interested in Architecture, Construction, and Engineering can join ACE. ACE is a national mentor program available to all high schools and those participating in CMS compete with each other for recognition and scholarships. For 2026-2027, the club plans to participate in meetings/presentations, collaborate with mentors and fellow peers, successfully complete the RFP, earn a trophy/recognition, earn a scholarship (seniors are eligible).

Battle of the Books is a competition-based club that connects readers from different genres to test their ability to memorize details from a list of books. We aim to inspire students to develop a love for literature and strengthen students' ability to work as a team using critical thinking skills. It consists of questions about the details of books from a set list and is conducted at the local, state, regional, and national level. Its legacy in promoting culture through reading and engaging competitions makes this an ideal club for any book lover.

DECA is an international organization that prepares leaders and entrepreneurs for careers in marketing, finance, hospitality, and management. Through competitive events, leadership development, and real-world business scenarios, DECA empowers students to apply classroom knowledge in meaningful ways. Members have the opportunity to explore career pathways, build professional skills, and connect with a network of like-minded peers and industry professionals. Future Business Leaders of America is the largest business and CTE organization in the world which is designed to help prepare its members for careers in business. Those goals are achieved through local, state and national competitions which allow students to demonstrate their knowledge and ability while also providing professional development for students. FBLA allows students to explore a wide range of careers in business fields and develop the necessary skills. Future Problem Solvers is an international academic competition that empowers students to look for positive ways to effect change locally and globally through competition components that value critical and creative thinking, strong writing and communication skills, and collaboration. Global Issues students research topics throughout the competition season and apply the six-step creative problem solving process to positively impact futuristic scenarios. Community Problems students explore a challenge facing their community, and Creative Writing students craft their own short stories rooted in research and futuristic topics. We hope to continue MPHS FPS’s strong tradition of placing in the Top 10 at Internationals.

HOSA is a student-led organization that prepares students for careers in healthcare. It focuses on developing future health professionals through education, collaboration, and experiences. We not only teach about these professions, we also participate in competitions to further grow our knowledge. We also host annual blood drives and service health related projects for The Red Cross.

Math Competitions club is a club that consistently competes in math against other schools and students through different formats. The club offer math madness, a fun tournament style math competition against a new school every week, and help students prepare and register for the AMC 10 and AMC 12 competitions. For 2026-2027, the club plans to compete in Math Madness online math competitions against other schools and help students sign up for and compete in the AMC math competitions.

Model United Nations is an international educational simulation where students come together to find solutions to global issues. Model UN allows for students to grow their confidence in areas of research, public speaking, collaboration, and debating. The goal for Model UN here at Myers Park is to be able to grow together as a team while helping people feel more confident in their public speaking, collaboration, responsibility, time management, and critical thinking skills. By being a part of the Model UN team and proudly representing the Mustangs, you will leave with stronger leadership capabilities and greater confidence in all of these areas.

The club's Mission is to provide a fun, safe and high-quality coed mountain biking program for students in grades 9 to 12. Odyssey of the Mind is a creative problem solving club where students work together to solve open ended challenges involving engineering, performance, writing, art, and teamwork. Through brainstorming, building, and presenting original solutions, members develop creativity, critical thinking, collaboration, and leadership skills. the club's main goal this year is to establish a strong and active Odyssey of the Mind chapter at Myers Park.

Science Olympiad is a club that aims to spread awareness about the various science fields through competitions and other events. There are over 20 events every year in which students participate within to increase their understanding within a specific field and demonstrate it for a chance to win medals and trophies. It allows students to explore subjects they may not have had the chance to or want to on a deeper level using hands-on experiences and collaboration within the team. Science Olympiad is the perfect club for anyone with a passion for science and innovation!

Speech and Debate is a competitive club that empowers students to find their voice, explore current events, and join a community of other students. We meet every Tuesday and Thursday for practice and compete on weekends at various local and travel tournaments. Students have the opportunity to earn awards at a multitude of competitions, some hosted by prestigious institutions including Harvard University and Emory University. Our four events (Speech, Public Forum, Congressional Debate, and Lincoln-Douglas) offer a wide range of styles and topics to fit every interest. No prior experience is necessary.
