Academic Team is a club that participates in various competitions (Twelves and different Quiz Bowl competitions). We meet every week to study and practice packets for competition. We consistently make it far in quiz bowl competitions (states and nationals) and this year we are aiming to make it far in nationals. We aim to help teammates learn their subject interests in great depth and put that into play during competitions.

Computer Science Honors Society is a student-led community where members take initiative, lead projects, and support each other in exploring the world of programming. German Club is an organized community of students who are dedicated to learning more about German history, culture, and language. Our monthly meetings include lively and informative presentations and activities regarding topics such as Oktoberfest, Saint Nicholas, the Berlin Wall, and many other festivals, holidays, and inventions. No prior German language experience is necessary to be a part of this club; if you’re simply interested in learning more about Germany and engaging with its culture, this is the club for you!

Mu Alpha Theta, the Math National Honor Society, is dedicated to inspiring individuals who wish to further their knowledge outside of the classroom to pursue mathematics. We have meetings twice a month, in which the club discusses a variety of advanced math topics, announces upcoming events, and partakes in other exciting math activities and service projects. Additionally, we participate in math competitions such as the AMC 10/12, the Rocket City Math League individual and group competitions, and more.

Spanish NHS (or la sociedad honoraria hispánica) exists to celebrate and foster scholarship in the area of Hispanic language and culture. Members pursue the goals of spreading Spanish fluency and awareness of Hispanic culture through volunteer opportunities at local schools and organizations, participation in and creation of MPHS events, and engagement in events in the greater Charlotte area.
