Lesson Plan
Teacher opens the lesson, and then checks the attendance of students. Afeter that, The teacher gives an apperception regarding the topic of the lesson, "Do you still remember that it rained a few days ago? Where does the water come from? To become rain, water needs to go through several stages of a cycle, which is called the water cycle.".
There are 6 phases in the body of the lesson. Phase 1 is conveying learning objectives and motivating students. Teacher explains the learning objectives that by the end of the lesson, students should be able to explain the water cycle. Teacher motivates students to maintain their extraordinary enthusiasm to study hard to achieve their goals.
The next phase, or phase 2, is Presenting information. Teacher presents information about water that goes through a cycle by powerpoint presentation.
Phase 3: Organizing students into cooperative groups. Students are divided into 6 heterogenous groups. Every group will get work sheets.
In phase 4, the teacher guides the group's work and study. Teacher also explains the procedure to finish the work sheet, "We will watch a video about water cycle. Watch the video carefully and complete the blanks in the work sheet by discussing it with your team!" Teacher shows a water cycle video and students do their work sheets. After finished, Students present their work. The results are being evaluated in phase 5: Evaluation. The teacher confirms the results of the work. The best team is going to get rewards in phase 6: Giving Rewards.
Students with the teacher conclude the lesson. After that, students work on learning evaluation test by using Kahoot. Reflection after the lesson is needed so students and teachers reflect on the learning process. Before the class is closed, students are given a moral message by the teacher. Finally, teacher closes the lesson.
Both formative and summative assesment are conducted. Water cycle chart is used for formative assesment meanwhile kahoot is for summative.
