Teaching System
Anuban Udonthani School uses the Basic Education Core Curriculum B.E. 2551 (A.D. 2008). Anuban Udonthani has an education level from kindergarten to grade 6 elementary school. At elementary school level, there are three types of programs, namely regular, Smith, and intensive programs. Smith is a program that focuses on mathematics and science. IP classes focus on mastering English, Science and Mathematics.
During the implementation of the program, I had the opportunity to get IP class (class V/11) as my main class. In this class (and all IP classes), English, mathematics, and science are taught with English as the medium of instruction.
Teachers used text books in their classrooms and each student equipped with their own. The books came in pairs, one as source material and one as a worksheet. While digital learning tools often took the spotlight, teachers also used concrete learning media some times.
Teacher assesses their students per semester, and sometimes also per chapter. Pretests and posttests are sometimes also carried out
My plan for my teaching practices is to teach Science and focus on student-centered learning. I aim to conduct an interactive learning where students can construct knowledge within themselves. Games are also included in my plan, because I want students to enjoy learning.
