As AI continues to become a tool within education systems, workplaces, and everyday life it is important to know what questions produce what kind of answers. 

Below are conversations I had with AI, the goal of this is to see how one platform responds and compared to another.

Answers vary with how and where you ask the question. In this situation the suggested product was the same, but the supporting evidence was different. While this may not matter for purchasing a laptop, it might for other questions.

Information is presented differently on different platforms. Gemini provides sentences to answer but ChatGPT presents listed information.

Both tend to provide a follow-up question after giving a response.

Ask yourself "what information are I looking to receive?" :

•  Indistinct questions leave room for wide answer ranges. 

(Do i know anything about this topic or is anything helpful?)

• Specific questions are answered with more detail. 

(Do I need a concise answer?)

• Switching up the AI platform can be helpful for gathering ideas. 

(Am I exploring ideas?)
