Sveta i svjetovna glazba u Božanskoj Komediji
Otkazano zbog covid-19 pandemije
Ovim novim projektom umjetničkog društva La Poliedrica, Simone Sorini SYRENARUM Ensemble obilježava 700. godišnjicu smrti velikog talijanskog pjesnika i filozofa Dantea Alighierija.
Česti susreti velikog pjesnika s glazbom omogućuju nam posvećivanje cijelog ovog projekta glazbi, nadilazeći njegovu poeziju i često mučnu biografiju.
Središnji dio projekta je uglazbljivanje mnogih Danteovih rima, kao i stihova njegovih prijatelja i članova Fedeli d'Amore, tajnovite kongregacije militantnih pjesnika aktivnih u Toskani na prijelazu izmedju 13. I 14. stoljeća.
Uglazbit ćemo neke od najznačajnijih odlomaka Božanske komedije, njegovog najpoznatijeg djela, posvećujući posebnu pažnju stilu pripovjedača tog doba koji su putovali između trgova i dvoraca sa svojim žičanim instrumentima poput provansalskih trubadura u Francuskoj.
Važan dio bit će i oživljavanje različitih pjesnikovih biografskh razdoblja, od prvih koraka u militaliziranoj politici grada Firence, do tužnih godina progonstva u Liguriji i Venetu.
Glazba, uglavnom sveta, uključivat će također neke od odlomaka koje Dante spominje u Božanskoj komediji, poput svetih alelujskih pjesama i gregorijanskih napjeva uskrsnog doba, uključujući Salve Regina koja se pripisuje srednjovjekovnom teoretičaru Hermannu iz Richenaua.
Koncert će biti izveden u cijelosti s kontekstualnim instrumentima iz srednjovjekovnih vremena, vjerno rekonstruiranim na temelju rijetkih ikonografija koje postoje u središnjoj Italiji.
Cantore al liuto (tenor), istraživač, autor
Tenor i multiinstrumentalist, poznat je i cijenjen interpretator rane i moderne glazbe na međunarodnoj razini. Tijekom godina okupio je i izbrusio duboko znanje o srednjovjekovnim, renesansnim i modernim žičanim instrumentima poput lutnji, citola, guinterne, citerni, chitarrini, oud, i gitare. On je "Cantore al liuto": pjeva i prati se uz zvuk svojih instrumenata.
Njegov neakademski i odmah prepoznatljiv vokalni stil, zbog kojeg je postao referentna točka za izvođače stare glazbe, vrlo je cijenjen i prepoznat u najvažnijim kazalištima i festivalima, uključujući Temporadu Gulbenkian iz Lisabona, Festival rane glazbe u Bostonu, Saison Musicale à Royaumont, Vikend rane glazbe u Londonu, Festival rane glazbe u Stockholmu, Festival Van Vlaanderen u Antwerpenu, Festival baroka u Pontoiseu i Renesansni glazbeni festival u Kopenhagenu.
S C. Violette Vi, pjevačicom i instrumentalisticom, osnovao je "SimoneSorini SYRENARUM", dvojac / ansambl koji izvodi repertoare čiste rane glazbe, ali i crossover projekte. Njegovo enciklopedijsko znanje o stilovima i žanrovima od srednjovjekovne do moderne glazbe, zajedno s urođenim glazbenim smislom, vode ga do razvoja jedinstvenih projekata na razmeđima antičkog i suvremenog svijeta, kao i glazbennih tradicija iz različitih zemalja, gdje se antički i / ili tradicionalni instrumenti i vokali s neobičnim i evokativnim zvukovima stapaju s modernim električnm i digitalnim instrumentima i stilovima.
Pjevao je i svirao na preko 40 snimaka koje su između ostalih objavili Sony, Stradivarius, Alpha i K617, a koje su u Francuskoj dobile prestižne nagrade poput "Diapason d’or" i "Choc de la musique". Sudjelovao je na svjetskoj turneji “Myth” i nastupao širom Europe te u Siriji, Meksiku, Kanadi, Rusiji i Sjedinjenim Državama. Specijalist za srednjovjekovni i renesansni repertoar, bio je i tumač glavnih uloga u djelima Vivaldija, Monteverdija, Albinonija i Mozarta. Pjevao je i snimao za Radio France Musique, Radio Osterreich1, RAI Italian Radiotelevision i SBS Radio Sidney.

With this new project by the cultural association LaPoliedrica, the Simone Sorini SYRENARUM Ensemble commemorates the 700th anniversary of the death of the great Italian poet and philosopher Dante Alighieri.
The great poet's frequent encounters with music allow us to develop a project entirely focused on music, going beyond his poetry and his often tormented biography.
The fulcrum of the project is setting to music many of Dante's rhymes, as well as the rhymes of his friends and fellow believers from the Fedeli d'Amore, a mysterious congregation of militant poets active in Tuscany at the transition between the 13th and 14th centuries.
We will set to music some of the most significant passages of the Divine Comedy, his most celebrated and known work. We will be guided by the style of the storytellers of the time who traveled between squares and castles with their stringed instruments, similar to the Provençal troubadours in France.
We will revive various biographical phases of the poet, from the first steps in the political militancy of the city of Florence, to the sad years of exile in Liguria and Veneto.
The music, mostly sacred, will also include several pieces mentioned in the Divine Comedy, such as the alleluiatic songs and the Gregorian chants of the Easter season including the Salve Regina, attributed to the medieval theorist Hermann of Richenau.

Over the years he has gathered and honed a deep knowledge of medieval, renaissance and modern strings instruments like lutes, citoles, guinterne, citterns, chitarrini, oud, and guitars. He is "Cantore al liuto": he sings and accompanies himself to the sound of his instruments.
His non-academic and immediately recognizable vocal style, that has made him a point of reference for performers of early music, is much appreciated internationally. He performed at the most important theatres and festivals, including Temporada Gulbenkian of Lisbon, Early Music Festival in Boston, Saison Musicale à Royaumont, Early Music Weekend in London, Stockholm Early Music Festival, Festival Van Vlaanderen in Antwerp, Festival Baroque in Pontoise, and Copenhagen Renaissance Music Festival.
With C. Violette Vi, singer and instrumentalist, he founded the "SimoneSorini SYRENARUM", a duo/ensemble that performs repertoires of pure Early Music, but also crossover projects. His encyclopedic knowledge of styles and genres from medieval to modern music, together with his innate musical vocation, lead him to develop unique projects at the intersections of ancient and contemporary world, as well as of musical traditions from different countries, where ancient and/or traditional instruments and vocals with unusual and evocative sounds interact with modern, electrical and digital instruments and styles.
He sang and played in over 40 recordings published by Sony, Stradivarius, Alpha, and K617, among others, which have received prestigious awards in France such as "Diapason d’or" and "Choc de la musique ". He participated in the world tour of “Myth” and performed across Europe, as well as in Syria, Mexico, Canada, Russia, and the United States.
