Paper Exam applications will not be distributed in person. You must apply online during the Exam application filing period.

Please note: When the first day of the application period for an exam occurs on a Saturday or Sunday, the application period may open on the preceding Friday.

To change your contact information:

Email us at examsunit@nyct.com with the subject line "CONTACT INFO UPDATE". If you are a Transit Employee, you should also submit the request to the BSC via the Employee Portal at www.mymta.info.

If you are on an established Civil Service list, you must also keep your contact information current with NYC Department of Citywide Administrative Services (DCAS) via email at oasys@dcas.nyc.gov. You may miss a chance for appointment or promotion if DCAS does not have your correct contact information or SSN. For more information, please refer to the Special Circumstances guide.
