At Mount Sinai West and St. Luke's you will find 26 residents from different places, backgrounds, and experiences. We've created a tight-knit family dedicated to working hard while also supporting each other. We celebrate diversity and inclusion and know how to have a great time. Together, we get through the best and the toughest times of residency together.
The backbone of the Ob/Gyn Department at Mount Sinai West and Morningside is our team of dedicated faculty members. All are board-certified or board-prepared in obstetrical and gynecologic care. Our faculty take an active role in the education and growth of residents whether it is in the operating room, on the floors, at the clinics, or during weekly didactic sessions and lectures. They also participate in various research projects, resident presentations, and medical student education through the Mount Sinai Icahn School of Medicine.
We have a long list of alumni that have help shaped this program. They are spread far and wide across the country and in various specialties. Through these various paths, we have developed a vast network for guidance when it comes to career choices and job search. Many of our current faculty trained here for their residency and their decision to stay and teach is a testament to their love for the program.
