Hello, parents and students! I'm so excited to be your child's 3rd-grade teacher. I'm Ms. Kalyiah Washington, and I'm from a small town called Earle, Arkansas. I graduated from Earle High School in 2021 and attended college right after at Arkansas State University Mid-South. I graduated from Arkansas State University Mid-South in 2023 with an Associate of Science Degree in K-6 Education. I then attended Arkansas State University where I graduated in 2025 with a bachelor's degree in elementary education.

I've known for many years that education was a career for me, so I didn't hesitate to pursue it once I attended college. Other things that I enjoy other than teaching are exercising, shopping, and giving back to others.
