Students are responsible for adhering to the building-wide Be EAST expectations outlined in the student handbook, as well as the French class expectations and rules below :
Expectations
- Engaged: Students collaborate and communicate with teacher and peers. Students persevere through difficult tasks, using their peers and the teacher as appropriate resources.
- Accountable: Students attend class each day. Students use the class website and Canvas to make-up any work when they are gone. Students complete all assigned activities, in and out-of-class. Students do their best work.
- Safe: Students only use specified websites when using computers and phones in-class. Students create an environment in which all students feel safe.
- Thoughtful: Students are supportive of one another. Students respect different cultures. Students are thoughtful and kind during class discussions.
Rules
- Follow directions the first time - be quick and silent.
- Use appropriate and professional language - be positive and encouraging.
- Sit in an upright learning position - be up, be alert, and track the speaker.
