Third Trimester

Third semester, students K-2 really get to expand their creativity and critical-thinking skills as they learn to collaborate and communicate through technology and all of the resources offered to students in our district.

Kindergarten students start using more diverse programs that require a sign in process as well as keyboarding skills. First grade students spend time reviewing coding and will begin learning some basics to robotics. Second grade pushes forward to using more robotics, Mystery Skype, and coding with the Scratch coding platform.

Third trimester is the most fun for me as students are the most prepared and the most capable - it's often the busiest and craziest, but I believe the students are often most excited about learning even though it's the end of the year. Enjoy - it's a good reminder to me of how quickly the time flies and how soon these littles will be grown!
