Tires and Spoilers
4/25/19
For the 2019 season MSCRA members will be allowed to change tires to run what is allowed by track rules. If a track specs another tire MSCRA member can run the track tire or the American Racer P245 (if tracks allow) at those events. Racers will have to follow track tire rules and will not get points for running tires other than American Racer P245 at tracks where they are specified.
Also MSCRA members will be allowed to bolt on a spoiler when racing at tracks or events that allow them. The spoiler must conform to that tracks rules.
We will evaluate how these exceptions work or the 2019 season to determine if they are continued in following years.

MSCRA Looking for Volunteers
01/02/2019
MSCRA is looking for volunteers to help advance the goal of promoting affordable and competitive racing by preforming tech inspections. This will add one more option to be able have free registration for the drivers. Once we get enough volunteers for a minimum of two tech inspectors at a track it will qualify that track for free registration. Techs will be asked to be able to perform inspections at least 4 nights over the season and not be part of a competing street stock team.
If you are interested in being a tech inspector for MSCRA contact us at MSCRASanction@gmail.com. Please provide your contact information, track you would like to tech at, and any related experience you might have. No tech experience is required.
