I am so proud of everyone's hard work during 2nd quarter. Everyone improved on their Learning Qualities. As I explained today, each quarter we all start with an S and improve and grow to earn an O. If I see we are falling short of our expectations I will warn them of "slipping". Check out everyone's smiling faces!
Seating- is fluid and I will not make assignments until later this month.
Cubbies- Each student has an assigned crate where journals, clip boards and materials will be stored
Water bottles- Students will be encouraged to bring in their own water bottles. 24oz bottles fit anything larger will store next to the sink.(but we have no space of more than 1)
Supply station- Students will store all of their own supplies here instead of their own desk or cubby. They will keep daily desk supplies in one pencil box to be kept on top of desk.
As they need to resupply they can get it from here.
No cookies, candies, pastries, potato chips, Doritos, Cheetos or Chester puffs or any celebratory food items.
Often our snack time is a "working snack" where we can eat and continue our work without making a mess.
At the beginning I will provide snack if it is forgotten, left over snack is encouraged to take to lunch.
