I am providing a modified sight words that is used for all of K-2. This is a new list developed by our ELA department to include words from our new Phonics: Fundations. Many of the words are known as our Trick words, High Frequency words and decodable words. Below I am including our district's expectations for each quarter that I will follow.
I will provide a copy for each student so that they can practice at home while reading and keeping track of how many words they know.

I have already started assessing sight word identification with all students. Everyone will have a copy in their Bee Binder to practice. I have had request for word list and I will share individually their results. Feel free to use in addition to your child's 20 minutes of reading and weekly homework.
