Create an interactive PowerPoint presentation that allows users to select a future car, home, and career using linked buttons and slides.
Open a blank PowerPoint presentation.
Choose your theme, variant color, variant effects, gradient fill, fonts, and slide layouts.
Title: The Game of Life
Subtitle: Your first name
Create a Start button that links to Slide 2.
Title Slide 2: Choose Your Future Car
Create three shapes and label them 1, 2, and 3.
Link the three shapes to Slides 3–5.
Add an image of a car to each of Slides 3–5.
Add a Home button to Slides 3–5.
Add a Next button to Slides 3–5 that links to Slide 6.
Title Slide 6: Choose Your Future Home
Create three shapes and label them 1, 2, and 3.
Link the three shapes to Slides 7–9.
Add an image of a house to each of Slides 7–9.
Add a Home button to Slides 7–9.
Add a Next button to Slides 7–9 that links to Slide 10.
Title Slide 10: Choose Your Future Job
Create three shapes and label them 1, 2, and 3.
Link the three shapes to Slides 11–13.
Add an image representing a job to each of Slides 11–13.
Add a Home button to Slides 11–13.
Right-click any button you created.
Select Hyperlink.
Select Place in This Document.
Select the slide to which the button should link.
Right-click the triangle action button at the bottom of each picture slide.
Select Edit Hyperlink.
Change the hyperlink destination from Next Slide to Slide.
Select the next question slide the button should open, either Slide 6 or Slide 10.
Delete the Next Slide action button from Slides 11–13. Those slides should only contain a Home button.
Add a transition to every slide.
Add an animation to every picture. Change the animation start setting to With Previous so the animations load without requiring an additional click.
