In this unit we will be looking a one dimensional motion. The difference between vectors and scalars will become apparent. The main focus will be on the mathematical and graphical representation of Position, Velocity, and Acceleration.

This week we have been working on the Mega quiz. There are several version of the Mega quiz. Extra copies were provided in class and are available here if you want to try the other version you didnt take, for extra practice for the first Unit TEST on Tues/Wed.
The Mega quiz question are similar to the Webassign problems and good practice for what you might see in the multiple choice or short answer sections of the test.
The MEGA MEGA quiz are all the harder question from the mega quizzes. These are similar to what you might see in the Free Response section of the test.
On Monday we started working on our How far, how fast lab using the airtracks and the photogates.
Posters, done as a group, are due Friday. Refer to the Poster Expectation and Rubric document for guidelines on how to make a good scientific poster.
We had demonstration about how a Photogate works, and we practiced setting up the Airtracks. This doubled as our prelab assignment.
We had a group discussion about the Thought Lab: Separation Distance
Then we had a few min to go over Webassign expectations for the webassign 1-1 due monday.
Fernandez was gone for a district meeting. Students had time to work on thier Show Me graphs
