Learning Intention:
Sucess Criteria
To understand how to recognise, classify and notate properties of triangles and quadrilaterals
1) I can classify the different types of triangles
2) I can describe the properties of quadrilaterals
3) I can use side and angle notation to show equal and parallel sides and angles on diagrams
First lets revise the notation of sides and angles
Line markings like these mean the sides are equal
Curved markings like these mean the angles are equal
Arrow markings like these mean the sides are equal
For all of our markings, we can use double or even triple markings where there is more than 1 pair of equal sides or angles
