Marketing and promotion 11 and eCommerce 12 replace the Marketing 11/12 in the old curriculum. Recognizing how technology plays a role in marketing, this course includes various topics in marketing such as digital marketing trend, advertising foundations and marketing ethics; topics in personal financing such as understanding capital market, as well has hands-on e-commerce platform such as Wix and Shopify.
Marketing services and products can be designed through consultation and collaboration.
Personal design choices require the evaluation and refinement of skills.
Tools and technologies can influence people’s lives
A consistent framework for Curricular Competencies has been established. 25 well-developed learning standards organized into 3 areas using a design thinking model:
• Applied Design o Understanding Context o Defining
o Ideating o Prototyping o Testing o Making o Sharing
• Applied Skills

• 9 learning standards organized conceptually to address:
o targeting markets
o influential advertising
o marketing and promotion processes and strategies, including corporate sponsorship

Cellphones are allowed the first five and last five minutes of every class, between which, are to be put away. They will be times however, where they could be needed for class work and the teacher will notify you when his is the case.
Food/drink/gum are not to be brought into computer lab.
