Two of the Rapp family’s three horses are pictured at the ranch. The same year that Lacey's grandfather, Carl Rapp, died, his wife, Cynthia, also lost a horse and two beloved dogs.

Cynthia and Lacey, share a moment at their ranch. Lacey said that her grandfather asked her to help with the ranch and watch over her grandmother for her health and safety, as well as her happiness. “I’m fulfilling his wish every day the best I can," she said.
