The Lone Star Honor Guard serves as an Honor Unit comprised of the Chapter's Color Guard, Burial Team, Salute Team (commonly known as the rifle squad), the Chapter Chaplain, and the Chapter Bugler.

The Honor Guard is tasked to support special events requiring a Color Guard for ceremonies and parades.  However, there are occasions where a military honors for funerals of fallen servicemembers or departed veterans are need at a moment's call - "We Are There".
