The Vision of the Lone Star Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart is to undertake a pro-active representation of its military, veterans, their dependents, families, and survivors in West Texas by a trusted steward of those who sacrificed themselves to our Nation by maintaining their legacy in our community.

Our Mission
The mission of the Lone Star Chapter of the Military Order of the Purple Heart is to foster and perpetuate an environment of goodwill and camaraderie among Combat Wounded Veterans, promote patriotism, support necessary legislative initiatives, and most importantly, provide service to all Veterans and their families in the City of El Paso and neighboring cities; the County of El Paso, Texas; and all of West Texas.

The Military Order of the Purple Heart, chartered by Congress in 1958, is a Veteran non-profit organization composed of military men and women who received the Purple Heart Medal for wounds suffered in combat. While membership is limited to those combat-wounded who have received the Purple Heart Medal, we support all veterans and their families at the local, department, and national level with many programs at each level. The Order was granted a 501(C)(19) tax exemption in 1981 with EIN #52-1356413. The Lone Star Chapter has over 300 members and continues to grow. Chapter 393 is in Region 5, Department of Texas. The following Patriots listed below are the duly elected and appointed officers of our chapter who do so voluntarily.
