For more than 90 years, the Military Order of the Purple Heart has advocated for service members by supporting them, their spouses, and their children with services and programs to assist with readjustment when exiting from military service. The MOPH helps those with opportunities with adjustment, reintegration and development into the American society, by instilling confidence, advocacy, and camaraderie.
The Military Order of the Purple Heart supports its members, their families with opportunities in both local and national programs such as:
Service Program
Youth Activities Program
Veterans Affairs Volunteer Service (V.A.V.S.) Program
Scholarship Program
Americanism Program
Purple Heart Trail
First Responder Program
While various activities and groups enable our members to find their voice, the Military Order of the Purple Heart goes further by listening and speaking on their behalves when assisting with Veteran benefits for themselves and their dependents; which deepens a greater appreciation for our organization on our mission to serve our fellow veterans.
The MOPH provides veterans and their families a sense of importance as individuals. It is communicated to them that those in the MOPH family care about what happens to them regardless of their story.
Finally, and perhaps most importantly, The MOPH promotes activities that lead to personal responsibility and higher self-esteem. As a result, when hard decisions have to be made, a fellow Veteran and Auxiliary is here to listen and help with your ability to make good decisions.
