This page features my new skills and learning from this course and how I plan to apply them to my future.
I learned the different names of the panes on Powerpoint (slide pane, thumbnails pane) and that there are many different ways to view presentations. Another thing I didn't know prior to the Powerpoint SIMpath is that you can change the layout of the slide if it is already created rather than deleting it and creating a new slide with the desired layout. I also never realized there was an option to apply transitions to all slides with a single command instead of applying to each one manually.
Google Sites, which I have made this website with, was also first introduced to me through this course. I have learned how to successfully navigate and use all its features and can now confidently say I know how to create my own website. Thanks CSIT 101!
Many of the things I did throughout this course provided me with valuable information I will carry with me throughout the rest of my life. Although it may be difficult to remember every single term and definition we learned, the projects completed throughout this course serve as great examples for how to make an effective PowerPoint, how to effectively convey information, and how to connect learning to real life. I plan to refer back to my work and experiences from this course any time in my future where I may need to do these things again.
