For this project, I was instructed to collect 4 different samples (1 of each media type) of different media, including one from Creative Commons, and to be sure to credit them properly. My chosen image (.jpg) came from the given resource, the animated gif originated from DeviantArt, I found my video on YouTube, and I gathered my audio file (.mp3) from Free Music Archive.
Below is the official credit to the creator with all the appropriate links!
"Cute bunny rabbit" by Kristoffer Trolle is licensed under CC BY 2.0.
I found this image by searching "cute" on Creative Commons and downloaded it as a .jpg by clicking "Get this image," going to Flickr, downloading the medium sized version, and uploading it to my website.
It is shared under the CC BY 2.0 license, which means anyone can...
Share: copy and redistribute regardless of medium or format for any purpose, including commercially
Adapt: transform, build upon, and remix the material for any purpose, including commercially
...as long as they give appropriate credit, provide a link to the license, and indicate if changes were made! This can be done in any reasonable way, but not if it suggests the licensor has endorsed you or your use
This is an example of an animated gif I found on DeviantArt. I have always loved hello kitty and I think she's adorable, so I chose this gif. I saved it directly from there, and uploaded it to my website.
Following the TASL rule of thumb, I will provide credit and a link to the original source since I was unable to find any licensing information or sharing limitations.

This is an example of an embedded video from YouTube, which I embedded using the offered embed code. I chose it because it makes me happy and serves as a good brain break. However, once again, I was unable to find any usage policy or licensing information regarding the video, but the YouTube channel, MAI PM, is verified.
Enjoy 10 minutes of puppies being silly and cute!

This is a sample audio file of an instrumental song from the pop/hip-hop categories called "Hours" by Makaih Beats. I found it on Free Music Archive while looking for cool mp3 songs to download, and thought it sounded relaxing and like good background music. I downloaded this audio file as an mp3 and then uploaded it to my Google Drive so I could embed it here on the website.
This song has been shared under the Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License, which means anyone can share (copy and redistribute) material as long as they...
Properly attribute credit: appropriately give credit and provide a link to the license, indicate changes that may have been made, but do not do so in a way that suggests the licensor endorses you or your use
Are noncommercial: do not use the material for commercial purposes
Do not adapt material: NoDerivatives, do not redistribute modified material that has been remixed, built upon, or transformed.
Below is the official credit to the artist with all the appropriate links!
Hours by Makaih Beats is licensed under a Attribution-NonCommercial-NoDerivatives 4.0 International License.
*Side Note*: While researching, I also noticed that Makaih Beats, the artist behind "Hours," also has paid licensing options for commercial use.
I learned about and practiced using many new resources, including acreative Commons, DeviantArt, and Free Music Archive. Learning about how to make audio files, such as mp3 files, more compatible was very helpful. I enjoyed learning the trick about how we can embed video files into our websites by using google drive to save the files first. Educating myself on the different types of licenses was also interesting, as many people, including myself, see them all the time but have never thought twice about them or considered their meanings.
