As an architecture student, I view AI as a tool that enhances the design process rather than replaces the architect. Throughout this project, I discovered how AI can assist with concept development, visualization, research, and communication, helping designers work more efficiently and explore a wider range of possibilities. By reducing the time spent on repetitive tasks, AI allows architects to focus more on creativity and design thinking.
At the same time, architecture goes beyond producing efficient solutions. It involves understanding people, culture, context, and the experiences that spaces create. While AI can generate ideas and process information quickly, it cannot fully understand human emotions, values, or the unique needs of a community. These aspects still rely on the architect's judgment, creativity, and responsibility.
Looking ahead, I believe AI will become an increasingly valuable part of architectural practice. However, it should be viewed as a collaborative partner rather than a decision-maker. The role of the architect remains essential in ensuring that designs are meaningful, ethical, and centered on the people who use them.
