Through this project, I learned that AI can support architects throughout the design process, from generating concepts and visualizations to conducting research and communicating ideas. Rather than replacing the architect, AI acts as a tool that can improve efficiency, accelerate exploration, and help develop ideas more quickly.
I was most surprised by how effectively AI could transform simple prompts into detailed design narratives, realistic architectural images, and well-structured research. The speed at which AI generated useful outputs demonstrated its potential as a powerful assistant during the early stages of design.
Despite its capabilities, AI still lacks the critical thinking, creativity, and contextual understanding of a human designer. Some outputs were generic, inaccurate, or unrealistic, making it necessary to carefully evaluate and refine the results. Human judgment remains essential to ensure designs are meaningful, practical, and responsive to real-world needs.
