The best way for you to approach this work would be to:
- Start with the questions at the beginning of the lessons on the course website. Think about what information you would need to write a short 2-3 sentence response, 5-7 sentence response, and a 5-paragraph essay response. You don't have to write these, necessarily, but consider what information you may need to write those types of response.
- Read the short explanations on the course site and watch any videos associate. Video-based questions (VBQs) are chosen to summarize the content you need to be learning. Completing the
- Study the Quizlet decks associated with each lesson to become more familiar with the terminology, events, and people most relevant to the lesson. Play the games and give yourself a quiz. If you are signed in to Quizlet and a member of the class (join link https://quizlet.com/join/a2BB2rWYG), I will be able to see your results on each term and better support your needs.
- Take the quizzes. This provides me the information I need to better support you. The quizzes can be retaken (just not on the same day).
- Google classroom questions are a quick check on your writing and provide me the opportunity to give you actionable feedback.
These basic routines of our class. We do a lot of learning activities, but these are the basics. If you do not think a set of slides provides you enough information, take the quiz associated with them and use those results to ask me questions.
