🛡️ Moderator Roles Overview

This section summarizes the hierarchy and responsibilities of moderation staff within WWC.

Moderator

Moderators enforce community rules across Discord and in-game platforms. They handle day-to-day moderation tasks such as issuing warnings, managing infractions, deleting inappropriate content, and assisting members with rule clarifications. Their role is vital in maintaining a respectful and safe environment.

Senior Moderator

Senior Moderators possess greater authority and experience. They handle complex cases and assist regular moderators with tasks. A senior moderator may also undertake a specialized role (Trello, Faction or Newspaper Manager etc). Additionally, they support special moderation efforts such as event management.

Head Moderator

The Head Moderator leads the moderation team. This role involves staff leadership & ensuring moderators are efficiently carrying out their role.

🏰 Faction Manager

Description:
The Faction Manager role exists to support and manage player-run factions. This includes overseeing leadership roles and ensuring that faction leaders are properly recognized within the community. It is used to maintain order, delegate power, and manage internal faction structures through official server roles.

Typical Uses:

• Granting or removing faction leadership recognition

• Supporting faction hierarchy enforcement

• Ensuring only active and verified leaders hold faction leader.

📰 Newspaper Manager

Description:
The Newspaper Manager is responsible for overseeing community-run media. It distinguishes between the government run newspaper and smaller publications. The role ensures that only legitimate and approved users are granted press privileges into minor-newspapers/regional events.

Typical Uses:

• Assigning minor or newspaper roles to users.

• Managing access to media permissions and resources

• Cleaning up inactive or unverified press users.

📋 Trello Manager

Description:
The Trello role is given to a user responsible for managing the WWC's official Trello Board. This includes info about gameplay systems, and public-facing information. 

Typical Uses:

• Adding/removing information within the Trello.

• Ensuring the public information is up-to-date.
