We are so excited to share details of the trip to build excitement for those who are attending this year and for everyone else to set their sights for future years. Below you will find details such as when and where the retreat is occurring, who is attending, and how invitations were extended. Additionally, you will find a basic itinerary. Following each trip we will share some of the highlights.

All employees get to invite an adult guest to join them.
All employees who have been with MMS for at least two years at the start of the year.
Must be in good standing (no major write-ups in the last six months).
Employees who haven't been on the retreat in the previous two years (excluding executive team).
All eligible employees are separated into 'pools,' and for every 10-ish people in the pool, one person is invited. Those pools are:
Managers (3)
Product Specialists (2 - 1 from each store)
Sales (misc) - Porters, Digital Lead Assistants, Guest Ambassadors (1)
Finance (1)
Service/Express Advisors (1)
Service Technicians (2 - 1 from each store)
Service (misc) - Porters, Detailers, Shop Helpers, Express Technicians (1)
Collision (1)
Parts (1)
Administration - Receptionists, Warranty Administrators, Accounts Payable/Receivable, Deal Administrators (1)
Guest Services - Delivery Specialists, BDC, Cafe (1)
Where possible, pools have performance-based qualifiers to choose who is invited (e.g. Product Specialists, Finance, Technicians, Advisors). These qualifying periods run from January through June each year.
For pools where there isn't a way of deciding based on performance, invitees are chosen by seniority.
If an invitee is unable to attend, another eligible employee is invited, determined by the executive team. The employee who was unable to attend is still eligible the following year.
Invitations go out in July each year.
2025 Itinerary
Sunday, October 26th: Travel day; Welcome reception
Monday, October 27th : Business meeting; Group activity: catamaran and snorkeling
Tuesday, October 28th: Choice of activities in the afternoon (invitees were able to choose between zipline, a speedboat jungle tour, a spa treatment, or leisure time); Farewell event
Wednesday, October 29th: Travel day
