Where can I park at work?
Employee Parking is allowed in designated employee parking areas only.

When do employee benefits kick in?
PTO & Health Benefits - These benefits go into effect on the 1st day of the month after 60 days of employment.
401K - Employees are automatically enrolled on the 1st day of the month after 60 days of employment. Contribution from the employee requires 6% with a 3% employer match (employee contribution can be adjusted later).
When are the pay periods and pay days?
Mark Miller Subaru functions on a bi-weekly pay schedule.
First pay period: 1st - 15th (you can expect this paycheck on the 20th)
Second pay period: 16th - end of the month (you can expect this paycheck on the 5th)
What is the dress code?
This answer may differ depending on the department you're working in.

Does Subaru offer overtime?
Mark Miller Subaru does offer overtime upon approval by your manager. However, we try to minimize excessive overtime hours in order for our employees to maintain a healthy work life balance, and to ultimately avoid burnout.
What is the holiday pay and schedule?
Paid Holidays go into effect on the 1st day of the month after 60 days of employment.

Hourly employees: Paid your hourly rate + half.
Salary/Commission employees: No difference in pay.
Advisors/Technicians: Paid your calculated PTO rate.

How can I get internet access?

How can I get printer access?
If you need to get access to printers at either location you can submit a request to ithelp@mmsubaru.com to designate a time to get you set up.
How often are performance reviews?
Performance reviews are conducted after 90 days for all employees, along with an annual review done through Paycom.
How do I get my email signature set up if I haven’t already?
Make sure to watch your inbox closely as Mike Aguilar regularly sends out emails including the new signature.
You may also talk to Mike Aguilar or Nate Lindquist if you need the current signature.
What is the procedure in reporting a workplace injury?
If you happen to receive an injury while at work, you must speak with your immediate manager so they can determine what steps should be taken.
Can I get my car serviced here even if I don’t have a Subaru?
Our Express and Main body shops accept all makes and models. However, it can take more time to get specific parts that we may not have on hand.
Uniforms?
If you're a technician, you should speak with your manager to request a new uniform.

What is the damage policy?

However, if you happen to get into an accident driving a company car, you must call 911 and you cannot work something out with the other person.
You are also responsible for any tickets you may receive while driving a company car.
Who do I talk to if I want to shadow another position?
Due to Mark Miller Subaru's varying types of positions and job responsibilities across the organization, each requiring a specific skill set, it is recommended that employees who are interested in applying for another position within the company, that they first spend a few hours job shadowing. This is recommended in order to provide individuals with a greater understanding of what is expected in each position and improve the likelihood that you'll be happy in the new position.
Even if you're not interested in moving positions, but would still like to gain a greater understanding of how all of our departments/positions work together, you are encouraged to participate in job shadowing! How can I refer someone for a position?
If you would like to refer someone for a position, you should have them mention you on the designated area in their application.
It is not required but you may also advise Heather about your referral.
Does Subaru offer any employee recognition programs?
Employee recognition programs Mark Miller Subaru offers are monthly and yearly recognized employee winners who receive a cash prize.
We also work with the program 'Thnks' which allows managers to send an employee a gift to show their appreciation.
Are there any educational assistance programs?
Tuition Reimbursement is set up for employees to gain knowledge and education that applies to their employment with us. Typically upon approval, Mark Miller Subaru will contribute up to 50% toward your tuition reimbursement. Please check out the application for more qualifications and requirements.
