The Japanese school year is ending! Hooray!
With that, our happy little routine is getting shaken up a bit! Yikes. As I've talked about, I will be moving soon, but my new place will be much larger, enough that I can actually host games just as I used to in ages long past. Unfortunately, I'm a bit of a travel for some, though we've already all been commuting for game day. I have a preference in hosting not (just) because I'm lazy, but it would allow me to set up larger maps and maybe get back to building some sets once more. As Age of Ashes progresses, we will need much more space for some of the bigger encounters! (I'm also very close to the station along with lots of take out, so... that's a big bonus.)
Speaking big changes, the Open World/Plaguestone game has been on quite the hiatus. After numerous scheduling conflicts, we haven't been able to get a fourth session off the ground. The game isn't finished by any means, but with my move coming up and the chaos of the new school year, it looks like we'll be waiting a bit more before we get into the final act. Sorry, all!
And a few things to note! An AoA player and I have been working on some "homebrew content." I say that I've been helping, when in reality I've been pretty far from that. I mostly say no to things and expect all the work to be done for me. In the future, we may want to playtest these rules, which would require a group willing to try and bend the system to the point of breaking. We're still a ways off from that, but it's something to keep in mind.
While I'm here, just a few of my "To Do"s that I should keep up so people can remind me to get to work!
I'm certain that there's more that has to be done with the website, but it's a constantly evolving thing! Until then, I'm going to relax and use the rest of my day off!
