October 5-Twenty Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time

In  Luke 17:5-10, Jesus teaches us about the importance of faith and how even a little bit can make a big difference. His followers ask Him to increase their faith, and He tells them that if they have faith as small as a mustard seed, they can do amazing things, like make a mulberry tree uproot itself and plant it in the sea. Jesus also explains that we should serve others without expecting thanks, just like a servant who does their job without seeking praise. This passage reminds us that faith is powerful and that serving others is an important part of being a good person.

What is faith?   What does it mean to have faith like a mustard seed?  Describe people you know who have great faith.   What are they like and how do they show their faith?  What helps you have faith in Jesus?    
Why is it important to serve others without expecting something in return

En Lucas 17:5-10, Jesús enseña a sus discípulos sobre el poder de la fe y la importancia de servir a los demás. Cuando los discípulos le piden que aumente su fe, Él responde que incluso una pequeña cantidad de fe, como un grano de mostaza, puede lograr grandes cosas, como desarraigar un árbol y plantarlo en el mar. Esto muestra que la fe no tiene que ser grande para ser poderosa.
