James 5:7-10. "Do not complain, brothers and sisters, about one another, that you may not be judged."

In Matthew 11:2–11, John the Baptist, while in prison, sends his followers to ask Jesus if he is the one they were expecting. Jesus answers by pointing to the good things he has been doing: healing the sick, giving sight to the blind, helping those who cannot walk, making deaf people hear, helping those who are hurting, and telling the good news to the poor. These actions show that God’s kingdom is arriving. After the messengers leave, Jesus speaks kindly about John, calling him more than a prophet and saying no one born of women is greater than John — yet the least in God’s kingdom is greater than John because God’s new way with Jesus is beginning.

Resumen Cuando Juan el Bautista, desde la cárcel, oyó sobre las cosas que Jesús hacía, envió a sus seguidores a preguntarle a Jesús: “¿Eres tú el que había de venir, o debemos esperar a otro?” Jesús respondió pidiéndoles que regresaran y contaran lo que habían visto: gente siendo sanada, los ciegos viendo, los cojos caminando, los sordos oyendo y las buenas nuevas anunciadas a los pobres.
