Students will understand the impact of thoughts and how they impact perception. Next they will learn how that perception impacts behavior. Perspective taking is a strong part of social awareness. Students will focus on seeing both sides. Students will be able to identify the difference between bullying and conflict. Students will address stereotyping and understand its impact. Students will practice empathy and learn to celebrate our differences. Real life examples can also be implemented, applied, and explored.
Does your child have a hard time managing their workload at school?
Students will learn to address anger in their lives as well as identify others anger. Students will read stories and understand the anger in each scenario. Students will identify coping skills as well as when these skills are appropriate. Students will understand stress and its impact. Students will create goals and learn time management skills. Real life examples can also be implemented, applied, and explored.
Has your child lost any sense of self-love or confidence?
Students will understand their strengths and challenges. Students will learn about building confidence and recognizing their feelings. Students will understand the concept of character and what makes it good. Students will practice growth mindset and positive thinking skills.
