I chose this topic since many of my friends fall into the misinformation trap. Many people in the world fall into the trap and get injured, mentally damaged, or die. And it's also an environmental hazard because people believe fake information on animals and damage them. It's an issue in plain sight because people never see the real issue in sight. So I and my team are working hard to prevent this issue from becoming a real threat.

I picked this issue because if there is too much misinformation in the world it could lead people to do something wrong. Misinformation could also lead to propaganda and could injure people. I think it is very dangerous. So I and my team decided to make a group for misinformation called "Falsehood Overflow" The meaning is that there is much fake stuff everywhere. I and my team set our goal to prevent and stop misinformation before it happens.

I chose this topic because it is one of the reasons that companies go bankrupt. A few years ago many people died because of misinformation. I felt really sad because of this. So I joined the group called Falsehood Overflow because I wanted to take action for this. But sometimes it may not be intentional, they still need to know how to avoid and stop spreading misinformation. Our goal is to stop misinformation from spreading and being created.

I choose this issue because I feel that many people are being lied to every single day so I want to try and help the people. And try to end misinformation because misinformation can lead to many people getting harmed and many people can get misled and believe false. Things like fake viruses or a fake war can spread more and more day by day. Because they can tell this misinformation to relatives, friends, and even neighbors. sooner or later all people will start to think that this belief thing is happening. And people can start to make groups that discuss this and start harming other people so that is why I want to end misinformation.

The reason I have done misinformation was because I feel like people always get bad information so I decided to do this issue, especially since these recent years since 2021 misinformation has risen. Many people have fallen for misinformation especially the people who say it because misinformation can start with disinformation and it means that they know it's wrong but they spread it to the entire world. Another reason I have done this issue is because many little kids believe it and you never know if they will spread it themselves in school which is why I recommend devices at ages that kids know not to believe everything they see on the internet.  More reasons are likely to be on this list like for example “DID YOU KNOW YOU CAN BREAK A LIGHT BULB FOR FREE” (example)and many more. These are all the reasons why I want to fix this issue.
