Happy New Year! I think I'm still looking at about another 2 week before I can identify any males, and potentially flip into flower. Thinks are filling in nicely, and the plants appear to be doing well (finally). There's been lots of new growth over the past 2 or 3 days.
I've still been trying to dial this thing in a bit, and I'm starting to feel better about where I'm at. Humidity has sucked pretty bad (or lack thereof), so my soil's been drying out super fast. Also, I'm nearing the end of my soil's ability to provide nutrients from the manufacturer, and I'll have to begin supplementing. Given how ugly these leaves have been looking lately, it would seem that I have a nitrogen (possibly other) deficiency.
Apparently bat guano is high in Nitrogen (some varieties more so than others), so I gave that a shot yesterday...and this morning they're already looking much happier. I'm going to give these one more week, and then I'm going to flip to 12/12 for flowering. I haven't seen any signs of males yet, but 2 of these have to go regardless (legality, and room in the tent). I think I can see what two I would choose at the moment. Once I'm in flowering for 1 week, I'll check for males again, and choose, get down to 6 plants, and set up SCROG netting.
