Reliability Physics

When the state-of-the-art semiconductor devices are being developed, we focus on achieving the best device performance. However, no customers want to use the devices with short lifetime.
In our lab, we conduct research on the reliability physics of semiconductor devices to investigate the degradation mechanisms and provide the solution to the robust reliability. We fabricate semiconductor devices in the clean room, perform the stress test to degrade or kill the devices, and analyze the degradation phenomena using electrical, microscopical, and photonic technique.
