Basic Research

My research interests principally lie in multi-objective optimisation. It includes two aspects.

First, I am interested in optimisation problems widely existed in modern world but hard to tackle, such as problems with many conflicting objectives, problems with a tiny feasible space, problems with countless local/global optimal solutions, and problems expensive to evaluate.

Second, I am interested in fundamental issues in multi-objective optimisation, such as how to evaluate the results and solutions returned by optimisation algorithms, how to maintain the archive/population in the search process, and how to make the decision-making process easier by improving the way of visualising solutions.
