We are looking forward to having 24 Brownie Girl Scouts join us on Saturday, May 7th from 9:00 am - 5:00 pm!
While the girls are at camp they will work with UWO students and earn the Eco Friend and Outdoor Adventurer badges.
The girls will be split up into groups and enjoy fun activities all day long. For lunch they will be making a one pot meal and s'mores over the fire! They will also be having a morning and afternoon snack.
You should receive an email mid-April from the students introducing themselves along with the days agenda and list of what the girls need to bring to camp for the day.
Please drop your Brownie Girl Scout between 9:00 am and 9:15 am.
When you drop your Girl Scout off at Camp Winnecomac, you will need to park on the street and walk her to the parking lot and turn in her health history form and permission slip if you did not send it in already. Girls must have a signed permission slip and health history form! There will be cones blocking the parking lot to ensure girls' safety as they wait for their sister Girl Scouts to arrive. At 9:15 am, the group will walk up the driveway together to their unit house and begin the day. If you should arrive after 9:15 am, please walk your Girl Scout up the driveway to Eagle's Lodge.
Please pick up your Brownie Girl Scout between 5:00 pm and 5:15 pm. When you her up, please park on the street and then come to the parking lot to show your photo ID and sign that you picked her up. To avoid confusion, we ask on the permission slip to write who will be picking your Girl Scout up. If for some reason that would change, please call the contact number on your part of the permission slip to let them know. If you should arrive after 5:15 pm, please walk up to Eagle's Lodge to pick up your Brownie Girl Scout.
