Inspired by “Get Back on Track” by GoNoodle
“Focus” is a short mindfulness moment that helps students settle their attention and reconnect with the task at hand. This activity uses gentle movement and grounding cues so students can release distractions, recharge their minds, and shift into a calmer, more focused state.
Introduction
“Let’s take a quick mindfulness moment to help our brains get back on track.”
Why We’re Doing This
“When our minds feel busy or unfocused, taking a short pause helps us reset and find our concentration again.”
Get Ready
“You can stand up or stay seated — whatever feels best for your body. Make sure you have a little space to move comfortably.”
Follow the Video
“We’re going to follow along with a short GoNoodle activity. It will guide us through calming movements and breathing to help our minds settle.”
Notice the Shift
“As you follow each movement, notice if your breathing slows down or if your thoughts feel a bit clearer.”
Return to the Task
“Now that our minds are back on track, let’s bring our focus to what we’re working on next.”
This GoNoodle video, Get Back on Track, guides students through a short mindfulness routine designed to help them refocus, settle their thoughts, and gently return their attention to the task at hand.
