ECHOES 2

Consider the word Echo! It is both a:

NOUN: An Echo is a close parallel to an idea, feeling or event.

VERB: To be repeated or reverberate after the original sound has stopped

With these definitions in mind, we, the Milwaz Productions Family invite you to ECHOES 2, A Poetry Challenge designed for you to find your voice, discover what you are passionate about and SPEAK UP about it. If it has been spoken about already… Make YOUR voice ECHO.

*This Challenge is open to participants aged 12-21 years.

The Challenge:

Participants will receive a RANDOMLY selected poem from the CSEC/CAPE syllabus, and using this piece as inspiration, they are challenged to reinterpret it in a modern, creative way. We are giving full creative space to bring these poems to life and ECHO in whatever way they see fit! - Through poem, song, dance, prose, spoken word, skit, drama, kaiso, parang, it doesn't matter, just ECHO!

Judging of the presentation would be done via a video submission to our team of judges, who would review and score the performance. (Rubric to be provided on Nov 12) The top 3 submissions would be revealed on December 2nd, 6:00pm on our IG LIVE broadcast, and the winner of the challenge would receive a cash prize of $1500.
*Other participants would eligible for a range of prizes and hampers provided by our sponsors.
