For decades, the SCP Foundation has been operating out of the public view to ensure the greater world is unaware of the unknown that exists. However, after months and months of discussion between us and the governments of the world, an awakening of ideas and beliefs, it was decided to open up. 

Today, the SCP Foundation continues its research and containment of anomalies, opening up and being transparent with the public to ensure cooperation with all parties globally. We will continue to ensure citizens of the world are unaware of the dark we work in for others to enjoy the light. 

Our mission is threefold.

Secure the anomalous from the greater public and ensure it does not get into the hands of the public or hostile groups.

Contain the anomalous from the greater public and ensure safety for all.

Protect the public from any threats by the anomalous and protect the anomalous to ensure research and new discoveries are made to fully understand them.
