The current server utilized by this SCP group was created on October 21st, 2024 and developed by Mikiparadaji2 (BasedSerbian) and DaCrazy, the current Co-Owner. It consists of the most up to date channels, categories and roles passed over from the previous server, which we will get into later.

Originally, the group and map went by the name Site Vigilant-αlpha. The map was older in scale and detail, eventually leading to the first overhaul and the rename to Area-14. As for the group, it was once text-based roleplay group centered around the original server with the server itself reaching 200 or so members before fully switching over to game-based roleplay with the original site. 300 members, overhauls and rebranding later, Site Vigilant-αlpha would officially be discontinued.

A quick explanation as to why we switched servers. After an incident involving BasedSerbian and their main account, as well as a returning activity after a 4-month hiatus & a needed change to the server, it was eventually decided to create a new server entirely, keeping the feel of the original while massively improving on it.
