Kids from grades one through five are invited to enjoy “After School Fun Story Time,” beginning Jan. 14 and continuing every other Thursday at the Aiken County Public Library. Each session will run from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m.
Planned are “Korean Cooking with Mrs. Chung,” Thursday; “Origami Fun with Judy Cunningham,” Feb. 25; and “Pinata Making,” with two consecutive parts, March 11 and 25; “Zenshotokia Karate Demonstration with Mike Hess,” April 8; and “PACT Team Police,” April 22. Registration takes place at the circulation desk, and details are available at 642-7585. A new Friday-morning book discussion group is taking shape, with sponsorship by the Aiken County Public Library. The next session, Feb. 26 at 10:30 a.m., will be on “Cold Mountain” by Charles Frazier.
