HAVE A GROUP of 4 or more youth or adults wanting to have an outdoor archery experience, contact us and we will schedule a class for your group.
We are very fortunate to have 4 well qualified volunteer archery instructors with various certifications from: NASP, DNR, 4-H, more ... All are members of the Maryland Bow Hunters Association and two are active participants in the Tuckahoe Archery Club.
Following is information about our instructional classes for beginners and those wishing to refresh previously learned skills.
Classes will be held for both adults and youth (> age 7 ).
The chapter has compound bows and related target equipment.
Classes will be limited to 10 students, with a minimum of 4 per class.
The Introductory classes will be 2 sessions of roughly 2 to 2.5 hours.
Classes will be held rain or shine in the Pavilion.
Our equipment conforms to that used in the National Archery in the Schools Program (NASP).
Generally, separate classes are held for Adults and Youth.

We offer beginner and refresher kayaking instruction based on the American Canoe Association Smart Start for Safe Paddling curriculum by an ACA trained instructor member.
Classes are limited to 4 students, ages 15 and up.
Minors must be accompanied by an adult paddler.
Classes run 3-4 hours and are scheduled according to the tide at the Park.
Classes use the Chapter’s 10’ Pelican sit-inside recreational kayaks, paddles, and PFDs.
