The Mid-Shore Chapter offers four types of memberships as follows:

1.  Regular (RG) A single adult over the age of 17, not attending school

2. Family (FM) Two adults residing at the same residential address and any resident dependents (children)

3. Youth (YT) An individual student in elementary or middle school

4. Student (ST) An individual student under the age of 23, attending high school, college, or  a trade school

From time-to-time the annual membership dues change to meet  inflation, critical maintenance requirements, and member initiated requests.  Currently, the annual membership rates are:

Regular = $85,  Family = $125,  Youth = $20,   Student = $40 

Our Chapter retains on average, roughly 30% of the total dues.  The other 70% is distributed between the Maryland Division (5%) and IWLA National (65%).

The calendar year and fiscal year are the same for dues payments. If one joins in the first half of the year (January thru June), one pays the amount due for the entire year.  If one joins in the second half of the year (July thru December), one pays for a year-and-a half and will be charged for the upcoming calendar year.
