The Izaak Walton League of America membership system is designed to register members on a calendar year basis.  Individuals electing to join a chapter during the first half of the year are required to pay a full year's dues.  If joining during the second half of the year, 1.5 year's dues are required.

Annual dues renewals are sent to members in October / November.  Members are expected to send in their renewal payment in a timely manner and preferably  before January of the coming year.  

The membership dues are comprised of 3 elements:  National Dues, State/Regional Dues, and Chapter Dues.  The National and State dues are fixed amounts based on membership type and the chapter dues are set by each individual chapter.

Chapter membership gives you the opportunity to use Bolingbroke Park, its facilities and equipment, and participate in its programs.  Included are 1.5 miles of marked trails for hiking, access to 4 kayaks and 4 canoes for use on the creek, archery equipment for training and use, and fellowship with like-minded individuals who appreciate nature, the conservation of natural resources and protection of  our environment.

Members receive quarterly copies of the National organization's Outdoor American magazine,  the on-line edition of the quarterly Maryland Division  Waltonian, and seasonal  newsletters and e-mails from the Chapter.
