Micro-teaching
Sessions

Welcome to Micro-teaching Sessions!

This two-day online event runs October 24 and 25, 2023.

This year's theme is Assessment and Feedback.

Micro-teaching is when a group of faculty observe others teaching short lessons and provide feedback. On day one, you will teach a “small” lesson (10-15 minutes long) and receive feedback. Through webinars, you’ll learn about educational technology tools, online course design, and more. On the second day, we’ll begin by learning more about assessment and feedback. You’ll then have an opportunity to prepare and teach a second lesson related to your area of expertise using the feedback that was provided on the day before and incorporating what you learned during the webinars. It is also a great opportunity for you to experiment with your teaching style and collaborate with your peers.

This is a jam-packed event. To see the schedule, visit the Day 1 page and the Day 2 page.
